Lost Prairie Farm, LLC is a small, family-owned and operated ranch producing quality, pasture and range-raised registered purebred American Shorthorn and ShorthornPlus (Shorthorn/Red Angus) cattle and registered South African Boer goats, both fullblood and percentage. 

Lost Prairie Farm is located in Northwest Montana, nestled in a valley just 45 minutes West of Kalispell, MT, off Hwy 2 near McGregor Lake.

Purebred Shorthorn & ShorthornPlus Cattle

The goal of our cattle program is to raise quality registered breeding stock -- bulls, replacement heifers and natural grass-fed steers for market.  No hormones here!  Our animals eat only an all-natural diet.

Throughout the year, we may have bred and open heifers and cows, bulls and steers for sale.  Please contact us for more information.

Fullblood & Percentage South African Boer Goats

Our Boer goat program's goal is to produce quality, registered and commercial breeding stock and market wethers.  We carefully cull, ensuring only the most desirable traits are passed on to our bucks and breeding does.  We run a closed herd.  Our goats are CL and CAE free.
